About Us

Hi, I’m Hannah 👋

I’m a mum of three and the person behind ASD Resources.

My journey began with my eldest son, Lucas, who was diagnosed with autism at the age of two. He had delayed speech and found it difficult to understand and communicate what was happening around him.

I started looking for visual resources that could help, but so much of what I found felt generic. I wanted something simple, practical and made for real everyday situations.

So, I started making my own.

What began as resources for Lucas soon grew as other families asked me to make things for their children too. ASD Resources was born — and more than 10 years later, I’m still creating. 💜

Today, I design practical visual supports to help with communication, routines, emotions, behaviour and regulation. From our Talkies range to visual boards, social stories and communication tools, everything is designed with one aim:

To make everyday communication a little easier.

I know every child is different, so my resources aren't about doing things one particular way. They're about giving children and the people supporting them simple tools that can make a big difference.
